The Tides Laguna Beach

The hotel's position was great walking distance to restaurants and a coffee house. Pleasant and incredible staff as I wanted.

Our room was unique and great-sized with a kitchenette, coffee, as for instance. The restaurant was wonderful and the food was fab! The location was good and the free parking was nearby. The staff were both efficient and excellent.

There was a tastefully decorated room.

Reasonably priced and charming small hotel, we really enjoyed this place.

The hotel had a central location to everything one could want while enjoying the Pacific Ocean. Btw, it was 700 feet from Main Beach.

everything was great, including attentive staff and peaceful location in whole california-removable. lots of goodies for breakfast. location so close to main beach, restaurants. also, easy to get to heisler park. perfectly pleasant experience there.

Perfect for a laid-back couple getaway

The old-school charm of this place was exactly what I needed. I appreciated the small kitchenette, it was useful for prepping a late-night snack after a long day, and the bed was super comfortable. I slept like a baby, and that's no lie.

It wasn't exactly a bargain, but worth it for the comfort.

Charming little hotel with very clean rooms and friendly staff. Parking can be a bit tight. Close to hiking trails and the beach.

Had a sensational meal at Las Brisas-totally vibed with their fresh ceviche! The Tides' rooms are cozy and spacious. The staff was great, super helpful and friendly. Nothing beats that laid-back Laguna Beach charm!

The stay included a clean room equipped with a kitchenette, perfect for self-catering. A well-maintained pool area featured a unique double-sized outdoor fireplace, ideal for evening relaxation after a swim. A minor issue with the air conditioning was resolved quickly, demonstrating excellent service. The interior felt a bit dated, and the walk to popular local spots required some effort.

The location is perfect for walking to nearby restaurants and the amazing Heisler Park. The staff was super friendly, and we really enjoyed the pool. Highly recommend this for anyone looking for a chill vibe.

The only downside was that there was no hot water in the morning. We didn't report it until checkout, but it would have been nice to start the day fresh.

The accommodation felt a bit worn down, with minor blemishes on the walls and floor giving an impression of neglect. The bathroom tiles had a cracked spot that raised some health concerns, and the water quality seemed questionable. The noise levels being an issue due to its street-facing location may bother light sleepers.
